SEN experienced TA needed for school in West Berks

  • Are you a Psychology graduate or someone from a care background?
  • Are you Team-Teach trained?
  • Are you looking to support children in a SEN setting?

Teaching Personnel are recruiting passionate teaching assistants to work in a lovely school in West Berkshire. The ideal candidate would need to be confident working with SEN students on a one to one basis doing interventions, particularly with those individuals who have Autism Spectrum Condition and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

This exciting opportunity is for someone who is looking to build their career in a school setting, supporting students from 6 -16 years old. This role will start in September on a long term basis, Monday to Friday. If you are resilient individual who understands SEN with a background in care or psychology then this could be the role for you.

The role:

- Based in West Berks

- Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

- Needing someone with experience of managing challenging behaviour

- Comfortable working with primary and secondary aged pupils

- Ideally for someone who is Team-Teach trained
