  • Full-time role to start ASAP
  • £70 - £80 daily rate, additional training provided
  • Expanding SEN department and ambitious SENCO

Behaviour Mentor required full-time to start in September at a school in North London

An outstanding North London school based in Barnet is seeking to appoint a behaviour mentor to join their team on a full-time basis to start in September

The school has a large SEN department and a newly appointed SENCO, they are looking to expand their team immediately to cope with the needs of their most challenging students.

You will be working with pupils who exhibit angry, aggressive and withdrawn behaviour towards members of staff and other pupils. You will be working closely with the Head Teacher and the SENCO, ensuring regular feedback and evaluations are given to help improve the pupil’s behaviour and overall performance.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

* Experience in a UK primary school

* Experience working with ADHD and ADD students who have demonstrated challenging behaviour

* Confident and patient

* Excellent communication skills
