Teaching Personnel Devon's Special Educational Needs department is rapidly growing. We are working with an outstanding SEN school in North Devon, which aims to support educational development together with the development of each individual’s talents, abilities, skills and understanding.

We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant with SEN experience to work with a challenging student on a 1:1 basis. The candidate needs to have knowledge of SEN or challenging behaviour.

As an individual you will need:

Ability to build relationships

A clear drive and passion for working with children

Creativity and initiative

Reliability and commitment

In order to be eligible, you must:

Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one

Have demonstrable experience of working with children or adults with SEN

Be able to provide 2 recent references

Be a UK resident or eligible to work in the UK

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
