Emotional/behavioural support role - Southampton

One of our large and diverse Primary Schools is seeking a support assistant for a 1:1 support role to start with immediate effect. The school are urgently seeking the right minded individual to work with a yr 2 boy with severe behavioural difficulties.

The role is full-time and will require a resilient and positive mental attitude for the individual looking for a challenging role that they can commit to long term.

The school have undergone much change and are constantly making constructive changes, so this will also be for the person very adaptable to change and able to work quite independently.

The school will be able to offer a long term and on-going position with other opportunities for being included in a developing nurture group.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
