Learning Support Assistants needed to work within Pupil Referral Units in Scarborough

  • Learning Support Assistants needed to work within Specialist Provisions.

Teaching Personnel currently work with a number of provisions seeking Learning Support Assistant who are confident working with children who can present extreme emotional and behavioural challenges to support in specialist provisions in Scarborough.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm and friendly manner, with a robust, professional, yet sensitive attitude.

Experience supporting in key areas such as numeracy, literacy, and a general understanding of current secondary core subjects would make you a Teaching Assistant we are looking for.

It is vital that you have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate to children that may demonstrate extreme behaviours.
