Do you want to make a difference? SEN Teaching Assistants required!

  • Pupil Referral Units based across West Yorkshire need specialist staff ASAP
  • Continual Professional Development such as Team Teach, Autism Awareness and SEND
  • Competitive pay from between £60 to £80 a day

West Yorkshire PRUs are looking for experienced SEMH support workers to appoint experienced Teaching Assistants to become part of their schools. You must be able to support pupils on a one-to-one, group basis and create a motivational and stimulating environment.

This post will suit someone who is passionate about their work and will be prepared to face difficult and sometimes challenging situations. Being proactive is key in this role and engaging with the pupils, if you do this you will be successful.

A Team Teach qualification would be ideal but not essential. ‘Teaching Personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
