Behavior Support Worker, Primary Aged Students

We have an excellent LONG TERM Behavior Support Work opportunity in an outstanding Leeds based alternative learning provision for Primary aged students.

The successful Behavior Support Worker will be required from January 4th to April 1st 2016. It is a full time post.

You will be working with a group of KS1 and KS2 pupils with Special Education Needs & Disabilities who can display challenging behavior and have social, emotional difficulties.

The ideal applicant will have Team Teach Training (or will be willing to undertake Team Teach Training), be proactive, engaging and enthusiastic. We are looking for someone who is assertive but approachable.

This is an outstanding provision therefore we are looking for an outstanding individual.

We welcome applications from people with a variety of backgrounds; perhaps you’ve worked in social care, mainstream SEND inclusion, youth work or have a PRU experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
