A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Enfield is looking for experienced teaching assistant to start in the school immediately. This PRU caters for children in primary and secondary phases who are unable to attend mainstream schools due to exclusion. The school aims to promote inclusion and help young people with challenging behaviour prosper through their education.

The schools provides excellent and continued levels of support from highly skilled and specialist staff.

The Pupil Referral unit in Enfield:

PRU Teaching assistant Role:

• Long Term, full-time role with possibility of permanent positions

• Helping pupils with social and behavioural difficulties

• Competitive rates of pay – dependant on experience and training

Ideal candidate:

• Interest and/or experience working with children with Social and Emotional Mental Health difficulties (SEMH)

• Great behaviour management experience

• Must be a committed individual, passionate about bettering the lives of young people

Monday – Friday (8:30 start)

• Potential Part-time roles also available

• Hours may vary dependant on planning and marking

Must have a Child Workforce only DBS on the update service or be in process of getting one to be considered.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
