SEMH Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated support staff for a fantastic school in Truro, Cornwall.

The school support and teach children from the ages of 8 - 16. Most of the children display quite challenging behaviours and require additional mentoring and coaching. Working with some of the most vulnerable children in the county can be challenging however extremely rewarding for the right candidate.

About you:

- Confident and passionate about positively impacting the education of young people

- Experience working with children within a work or volunteer post

- Available full-time and looking for a permanent position

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
