SEMH teaching assistant needed for September 2016

We are looking for a teaching assistant to work in the SEN departments of one of our mainstream primary schools. You will be a part of the social, emotional and mental health team and your work will involve supporting pupils inside and outside of the class room. You will be working with these pupils one to one focussing on anger management and self-esteem issues. Your role will be to support them in their mainstream class until they are able to manage their own learning.
We welcome applications from experienced primary and secondary teaching assistants as well as graduates considering a career in teaching. GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English is essential. A Level 2 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
