Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a “Good” Primary School in Reading who are looking for a KS1 SEMH Support Worker to support a KS1 pupil with severe behavioural difficulties.

The KS1 pupil has recently transitioned from a Pupil Referral Unit and can be physically and verbally aggressive. Experience of having worked in Pupil Referral Unit’s with EBD is preferable but not essential. However the incoming KS1 Support Worker must have prior experience of having supported pupils with severe behavioural difficulties and must have a resilient nature.

This KS1 Support Worker role is a Full Time post; term- time only and is to start from September 2017 up until the rest of the academic year with the scope for a permanent contract for the ideal Support Worker.

The school is an OFTED rated “Good” Primary School in Reading who have a fantastic support structure in place to facilitate learning and development for all staff members with opportunities for CPD.
