Full time role until the end of the academic year

Work in an OFSTED graded Good School

Support for professional development including free CPD

An SEN (Special Education Needs) Unit for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder based in the Woodley area is currently looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to help support children on a one to one basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone with experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and wanting experience within an SEN setting. You will be supporting children with academic studies, life skills and creativity. The school has a supportive and laid back atmosphere, where support is always available.

The successful candidate will need to have solid experience working with children with ASC and restraint training is desirable but not essential.

If you are a team player, can get stuck in and use your initiative – this is a fantastic opportunity for you to utilise these skills in a way where you can make a real difference.

This is a great school with fantastic facilities and plenty to offer. The opportunities for CPD are outstanding and this truly is a great place to work for the right person.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
