1:1 behaviour support Camberley

Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant experienced in supporting a pupil with SEMH resulting in some behavioural problems for a primary school in Camberley. The Camberley Primary School are looking for 1:1 support for a year 3 pupil. The role will consist of supporting the pupil in class, keeping him focussed and on track, carrying out important intervention work with the pupil in literacy and numeracy learning.

- September start full time role.

- One to one support

The headteacher of the Camberley primary school are looking for somebody with experience working with challenging behaviours ideally in an educational or residential environment. The pupil can show signs of violent behaviour and has previously been expelled from school. The headteacher is looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, hard working and reliable.

The school role is well supported and CPD opportunities are available through Teaching Personnel and the school. The Camberley school is located in GU15 has recently been rated "Good" by Ofsted and they strive on good behaviour in the school.

Being team teach trained would be of benefit but not essential as Teaching Personnel offer this training opportunity.

They are looking to trial candidates first couple of weeks back in September.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
