We are looking to appoint a hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work alongside outstanding teachers at a specialist BESD unit attached to a mainstream primary school based in the South Liverpool area (great transport links, by bus and train). We are looking for a suitably experienced teaching assistant to support the learning of a BESD pupil at KS2. You would support the pupil to achieve their full potential both academically and socially. Strengths in behaviour management would be desirable however we offer a Team Teach Foundation course (subject to a fee), a Teaching Assistant qualification is not essential but desirable or a relevant degree or school based experience within BESD will suffice.

• gain hands on experience working with Educational Psychologists, Inclusion Support Workers and an Inclusion Specialist Teacher (BESD Support and Advice Team) expert specialists in the field of SEN.
• Work as part of a dynamic team, making a real difference to the education of dis engaged learners
