Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a behaviour learning support assistant for a primary school in Leicester City. The role involves 1:1, 2:1 and group work with SEN EBD/SEMH pupils that require engagement and behaviour management. You will be required to monitor and record pupils progress and assist in the implementation of individual education programmes. You will also be assisting and working closely with the class teacher ensuring the curriculum is accessed and understood as well as undertaking a variety of non-curricular based activities.
This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic and driven by working with SEN children and making a difference. Team Teach training is desirable but not essential and can be provided by teaching personnel during your placement. The school are able to offer excellent opportunity full time monday to friday with a potential permanent role to be available after a trial period.
