If so, I NEED YOU!

Our client school in Poulton-Le-Fylde has instructed us to source TWO Teaching Assistants (preferably Level 3 but not essential) to start ASAP!

The role will involve supporting students with SEMH, ASC, MLD, SpLD and other complex needs on a small group and 1:1 basis.

Class sizes are small, with no more than 8 pupils per class, catering for pupils across KS3 and KS4.

Working hours are from 8:15am - 3:15pm, 5 days per week.

The Head Teacher is interested in candidates who have worked in a PRU / Alternative Provision, worked alongside Young Offenders, Sports Coaches, those who have worked with NEETs, those with an Army background, those who have worked in prisons and MORE! (You don't have to have direct experience in a school, but you MUST have the skill set and knowledge to handle challenging behaviour appropriately and the understanding of pupils who have mental health difficulties.)

The pupils require nurture, care and guidance from an appropriate mentor / support assistant. You must be 'thick-skinned,' energetic, empathetic and non-judgemental with a can-do attitude.

The school would like to meet candidates who have an interest, a passion, the determination, drive and personality to support their pupils through way of a TRIAL DAY.

You MUST have experience supporting pupils of a challenging nature and be willing to work in the school on a supply basis initially.
