Job description

SEMH experienced Teaching Assistants required to provide behaviour support in Cambridge based Secondary School

  • TA’s who will be available for a full time role
  • TA’s who can provide support in mainstream Secondary Schools
  • TA’s who are able to provide support to students up to GSCE and/or A level

Secondary Schools in Cambridge and surrounding areas are looking for hard working and dedicated Teaching Assistants and Support Staff who are able to provide support to SEMH/challenging behaviour, working as a behaviour mentor/buddy.

If you are a TA / Teaching Assistant or LSA / Learning Support Assistant and are interested in providing support to pupils in their learning and development through classroom support, 1:1 support or small group work, you could find your ideal position with our help.

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants that have a good understanding of and have experience supporting children in Secondary mainstream schools.

The ideal TA will have:

-Experience supporting SEMH

-Enthusiasm and vigour

-The ability to build a rapport with students


-The ability to develop parent partnerships

-Experience providing support to KS3 / KS4.

-A devotion to the students development and the role they play in providing this
