SEMH Teaching Assistant

-          Full Time Position – Immediate Start   

-          Old Trafford, Manchester (M16)

-          Learning Support Assistant to work with children across the school with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties

Teaching Personnel are working with a client primary school in the Old Trafford area of Manchester (M16). The school are looking for a learning support assistant to work across the school with children with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience working with children with additional needs and will be comfortable working closely with the children’s parents, the schools SENCO and other members of SLT to assist the children continually throughout their studies.

Each child works from specific IEP’s so the successful candidate will have experience following specific steps and moving children on with their learning. The schools SLT were graded ‘OUTSTANDING’ at the schools last OFSTED inspection so the successful learning support assistant can expect constant support whilst working in the school.

This full time role will start ASAP and will run up until the end of the summer term. To be considered for this position you will have prior experience working with children with SEMH and will be looking to develop your career in education.
