Job description

A larger than average Primary School in Hulme area of Manchester (M15) are looking for a specialist behavioural Teaching Assistant to provide support for a pupil in KS2. The pupil is said to be showing signs of social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and has recently been issued with an Educational Health Care Plan. The pupil has said to be controllable with support but has been known to be disruptive and lash out without the right support in place.

The pupil needs a Teaching Assistant who is strong, assertive and resilient in their approach to keep the pupil on task and ensure progression is being made ay all times. The Head Teacher is initially looking for the successful candidate to work with the pupil 1:1 but depending on impact is hoping to re-integrate the pupil back in to the classroom as soon as possible.

This 'GOOD' primary school boasts a friendly and inclusive staffing team who are looking forward to welcoming a new member of staff. The ideal candidate will not have any issues integrating in to the team and will feel well supported from the outset!
