Job description

An 'Outstanding' multi site trust are currently looking to recruit specialist Teacher for an immediate start. This position is commencing ASAP and running until the end of the academic year (July 2019).

The Setting is a Specialist provision which is located in Oldham. The pupils who attend the Setting often show signs of challenging behaviour and can be prone to aggressive outbursts. The Setting are ideally seeking a Teacher who has significant experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. The ideal experience would include: working within a PRU, working within a Residential Care Home or experience within an SEMH School.

This particular role will involve working with primary aged pupils supporting them in reaching their full potential. The pupils who attend this Setting do often display signs of challenging behaviour so the successful applicant will require high levels of emotional and physical resilience.

In order to be considering for this position you should have:

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Experience working within specialist provisions (desirable)

- The ability to deliver the National Curriculum

- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH needs

- An understanding of how to plan and deliver nurture groups

- The ability to support all pupils regardless of their abilities in achieving their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
