KS2 teacher required for SEN Middlesbrough

  • Teacher of KS2 required
  • OFSTED graded Good School
  • 1 term as a minimum

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an OFSTED Rated "Good" SEN School in Middlesbrough who are looking to recruit a KS2 teacher to work from October until at least January. . The position is a maternity cover and potentially could last until July 2018.

The School is in easy access of the A19 and A1 and close to excellent transport links.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a mixed year group class of 7 pupils made up of years 4,5,6. They will have experience of the SATs curriculum and have experience or a willing to work with SEMH pupils. It would also be advantageous for the candidate to be team teach qualified and experience of working with severe dyslexia.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A UK recognised Teaching qualification

• Experience working with young people with SEN including ASC, MLD and SLD

• An excellent knowledge of the KS3 curriculum

• Excellent behaviour management skills (ideally Team Teach Trained)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
