Secondary Teacher, with experience working with Social Emotional & Mental Health

  • Do you have qualified teacher status (QTS)?.

Full time position commencing in September 2017, the position is for an experienced SEMH teacher and is initially a temporary position for the first term September- December 2017, however the opportunity for permanent could be available for the right candidate. This role involves working with pupils who have emotional, social and behavioural needs, so therefore it is important for the teacher to have a passion for working with pupils with SEMH.

The pupils who attend the school are aged 11-19 and have a wide range of needs including: multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, social and emotional needs and mental health needs. To apply for this position you must be an experienced teacher with qualified teacher status.

The ideal teacher would have:

- Qualified Teacher Status

- A specialism in working with pupils with SEMH

- Desirably Team-Teach trained

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
