SEMH (EBD) Teacher Posts

  • Are you experienced in working with challenging behaviour in referral units?
  • Do you have the ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm and friendly manner?
  • Do you have a robust, professional attitude committed to your continued development?

At Teaching Personnel we work with a number of PRUs and behavioural schools in and around the North East. We are looking for teachers who are confident working with children who can present extreme emotional and behavioural problems. We specialise in working with schools who have pupils with complex emotional needs and have been excluded from a mainstream setting.

Teachers who are interested in this type of role would need to plan and prepare continually stimulating lessons. It is vital that you have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate to children that may demonstrate extreme behaviours.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates applying to jobs through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS – Full assistance provided (AGY)
