An excellent, new alternative provision based in Bristol is looking to recruit an experienced English teacher to add to their existing team of tutors/teachers. The position will commence in asap for the suitable candidate.
Being an alternative provision, you will be working closely with children that have social, emotional and mental health issues which may exhibit challenging behaviour and/or alternatively suffer with complex needs. In light of this, you will need to have a strong desire to help boost all students self esteem whilst delivering the curriculum to varying levels of ability.
You will be required to prepare all work for your subject specialism and will ideally have had experience of this in their previous role.
The school offers a flexible and supportive working environment and is keen to offer training and ongoing educational support for the right candidates.
If you feel that you can make the extra difference and seek a new challenge or have been working in a primary school and keen to work in an alternative provision with the ability to teach KS3/4 then I would love to hear from you.
You will need to be a resilient and confident with a desire to work with children of this nature and in return you will have a fulfilling and rewarding role which is very different to mainstream education. No experience with SEN necessary although you must have a good understanding of the curriculum and recent teaching experience.
To find out more about these position and the school please contact me, Anna Kitson immediately on 01179 200040 or email anna.kitson@teachingpersonnel.com with your CV attached to arrange a preliminary interview with the school.
