SEMH Specialist KS3 Teacher Required in Morpeth

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a KS3 Teacher experienced in supporting students with SEMH for a Pupil Referral Unit in Morpeth. This role is to commence ASAP and will continue up until Summer, with the possibility of a permanent contract. The teacher will be responsible for teaching English and Humanities.

Ideally applicants would have experience teaching pupils SEMH in a school setting or specialist provision. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach are desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or Teachers with Mainstream Secondary experience.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-6 months experience teaching SEMH pupils

-Up to date Team Teach

-Adaptable across subjects and a good KS3 curriculum knowledge

-Excellent behaviour management
