Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN teaching assistants to work in a school that caters for children with social, emotional and mental health needs in the Milton Keynes area.

This job role is perfect for an enthusiastic, driven and creative candidate with previous experience working with children or young people.

Ideally you will have worked in a school setting and have experience of supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs and ideally have the Team Teach qualification.

Specific roles would be ideal for any candidate who has experience working with behavioural difficulties in a school, residential or care setting.

As a teaching assistant you will be supporting children between the ages of 3- 18 years, and will be responsible for encouraging the positive emotional, social and academic development of children.

Essential skills include excellent communication / relationship building as well experience of supporting learning.

Essential requirements include:

  • Experience of supporting learning with age group of between 3-18
  • Excellent communication skills
  • SEN awareness and experience of a similar role

A registration process will need to be followed before starting the role, therefore you must be able to provide two references demonstrating the above skills.
