HLTA

Hear at Teaching Personnel we are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with us and the schools we work closely with. One of the Academy trusts who come to us directly are looking for a HLTA to support pupils with SEN, SEMH and challenging behaviours.

To apply for this role you must have:

  • HLTA qualification
  • GCSE A-C in English and Maths
  • Experience in support challenging behaviours
  • Available full time
  • UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle

The responsibilities of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant include:

  • Leading small groups of pupils or whole classes
  • Establish relationships with other professionals and agencies to support work of pupils
  • Attending staff meetings and contributing to the development of the school
  • Assisting teachers in offering guidance to support staff
  • Preparing and developing resources for learning activities
  • Reporting on the progress made by pupils

All candidates who works with Teaching Personnel are required a DBS in child workforce which is registered on the update service. If you do not have a current DBS then do not worry as we can support you through the process.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
