SEMH High Level Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently looking for committed resilient hard working and highly-motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant in the Sherborne area.

The school works with young people between the ages of 11 and 16 from North Dorset who are unable to attend school full-time. The school offers teaching in schools, in student's homes, at our centre in Sherborne and across the internet with their aim to help our students back into school or on to further education, work or training.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the aims, values and ethos of work within a PRU, or has strong relevant experiences with EBD/SEMH pupils and a proven track record of delivering excellent service outcomes in a relevant area as well as having strong literacy & numeracy skills as well as a willingness to be flexible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
