Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a high level SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in EBD / BESD / SEMH to work in a mainstream school in Hillingdon supporting challenging behaviour in KS1-KS2. You will be supporting children ranging in age from 5 to 11. This is a smaller than average school with the majority of pupils receiving additional support due to special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and a committed Teaching Assistant dedicated to making learning fun and interactive. You will be joining an effective and supportive team that works together to help children with EBD access the national curriculum. You will have experience dealing with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour and will display a range of effective approaches to the management of these needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Degree qualified with experience working with challenging behaviour

- Youth work background

- Extensive knowledge working with challenging behaviour

- Passionate and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
