An outdoor service which provides support on for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Autism and ADHD are looking for bank staff.

Their programmes are designed to target disengaged and at risk young people who find mainstream education difficult. They work with students to combat antisocial behaviour, reengage them in education and improve their self-esteem.

Desirable Additional Degrees, Qualifications and Awards in childcare or youth work, e.g.

• Foundation Degrees in Education

• Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

• Support Work in Schools

• Special Educational Needs

• Language / Speech Therapy

• Core Subjects Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages

• Sport Coach

Candidates need:

• the ability to build good relationships with children, teachers and parents

• the ability to cope with challenging behaviour

• a professional attitude to work

• a strong regard for pupil safety and well-being

• a positive approach to working with children and the ability to motivate, inspire and build rapport;
