Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a full time support assistant to work in a school for children aged between 2-19 years with a range of special educational needs. This specific position will be working in a key stage 1/2 class with students with different additional needs. The school prides itself on promoting independence, valuing all achievements and ensuring all students have a positive learning experience in school.
Your role will be to work as a team with all staff in the class to support all the students with various aspects of their daily routine. The class structure involved a lot of sensory interaction, speech and language development sessions and interactive learning. Previous experience or training in these areas is highly recommended, however the school will be happy to consider applications from anyone who shows an empathetic and proactive personality. This role would be a fantastic opportunity and stepping stone for anyone looking to start a career in teaching students with SEN.
This position is to start as soon as possible, however we will be considering applications throughout September.
