Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a SEN school in Newcastle Upon Tyne to recruit a teaching assistant experienced in supporting students with SEMH and MLD in a KS3/KS4 setting to commence ASAP.

Ideally applicants would have experience with SEMH, challenging behaviours and MLD in a alternative provision/PRU setting. An additional qualification such as Team Teach is desired but not mandatory.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-6 months experience supporting students with SEMH and MLD in a mainstream or SEN setting

-Team Teach Trained and a good understanding of SEMH/EBD

-Patient and nurturing mannerism
