Job description

Teaching personnel are currently working with a large academy trust in Southampton who is seeking teachers on a consistent flexible basis to cover teacher absence within their schools. If you are a teacher who would like a better work life balance or want the added flexibility of a supply role then please apply!

The role provides yourself the flexibility to dictate your working availability and also means you will not be responsible for planning or marking whilst undertaking the role, your priority would be to engage with the children and help them with any subject queries they may have.

Teachers applying to be a Teaching Personnel supply Teacher must meet the following criteria:

  • Teachers must be available during school working hours of 08:30 – 15:00.
  • Teachers must have references from last 2 employers.
  • Teachers must be comfortable to teach and cover within the secondary sector which involves KS3 and KS4.
  • Teachers must be able to commute around the Southampton area
  • Have obtained a DBS which is registered on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
