Are you a Secondary Teacher seeking a new role for September?

Do you have experience working with pupils with behaviour needs?

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the Bournemouth area, seeking a full time teacher to join their team from September.

The school is a pupil referral unit; a secondary site catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education. The school caters for pupils with a range of needs including temporary and permanent exclusion, Autism, Aspergers and Medical or Anxiety needs.

This is a full time role for a class teacher. This is to start in September and is fixed term for the Academic Year. The school can be flexible on subject specialism - the right fit for the school is more important.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • QTS in the UK
  • Experience teaching within a Secondary setting
  • Experience with challenging behaviour and/or SEN.
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Manually handling training is desirable but not required - we can assist you with this

You will be responsible for a class of around 6-8 pupils and will be supported by Teaching Assistants.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
