A rated ‘outstanding’ SEN school based in West Ealing are looking for a Maths and Science Teacher with mainstream school experience to teach pupils within the school’s secondary departments. The school provides for students aged 5 – 21 with statements of special educational needs, a majority of students are diagnosed with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties, ADHD, ODD, autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Specific Learning Difficulties.

The role is to start in September 2017 and will be an on-going long term role with high possibility of permanent placement.

Maths and Science Teacher Role:

• To start September 2017 (4th September2017)

• KS3 role teaching Maths and/or Science at GCSE and Functional Skills

• Full- time and ongoing role

• Usual School hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4pm

• Competitive pay rates with high prospects of permanent work

Requirements:

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status and/or Oversees trained Teacher status

• Qualifications from oversees will be considered

• Must have experience teaching within a mainstream setting

• Must have experience/passion to support children/young adults with social and emotional mental health difficulties

• Must be available to visit the school prior to September for interviews

• Must be able to provide two teaching based references and DBS document
