SEND Teacher required in secondary school in East London

  • Primary Trained SEND teacher
  • Experienced with Nurture Group Curriculum
  • Supportive Staff and Senior Management Team

Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for a high quality Primary Trained SEND Teacher, who is enthusiastic and experienced to deliver a Nurture Group Curriculum to 14 Yr 7 students.

• The school has professional staff and children whose special educational needs include Autistic Spectrum Disorders, complex learning difficulties, language and communication disorders and associated challenging behaviour.

• The chosen candidate will be an SEND Teacher with an ability to teach Nurture Group Curriculum to 14 Yr 7 students

• A strong team leader who is positive and resilient, an excellent classroom practitioner and able to establish good working relationships with colleagues, parents and outside agencies.

• Celebrating successes when possible to create an excellent community feel.

• A SEND Teacher with EYFS/KS1/KS2 experience.

The ideal candidate will be a suitably qualified SEND Teacher with experience or enthusiasm of work with special needs students.

A good working knowledge of Communication and Autistic Spectrum Disorder and a holder of QTS.

Previous experience working with primary age Special Educational Needs students. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
