Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting throughout September for teaching assistants to work in a Special Educational Needs school based in Ascot. The school caters for children with Autism including Asperger's syndrome. The school requires a teaching assistant to work with primary and secondary pupils in small group and 1:1.

We are aiming to recruit someone who has experience working with children with SEN, this is not essential as the school is happy to accept candidates who have a passion to work with children.

  • Calm manner in stressful situations
  • Understanding of Autism (not essential)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
