Secondary SEN Cover Teacher

We are looking for a Secondary SEN Cover Teacher to support a Secondary school catering for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours - many of these pupils are no longer able to remain in mainstream education.

The School are seeking a hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Secondary SEN Cover Teacher to be available to cover lessons within the school when there are staffing shortfalls. You will be leading a team of Teaching Assistants in providing excellent education whilst managing behaviour and promoting positive life choices.

As a Secondary SEN Cover Teacher you will be responsible for covering a range of already planned lessons throughout the school across classes of 4-8 students and also 1:1 intervention. With a number of resources on hand and a very supportive Senior Leadership Team.

We are ideally wanting people who are available ASAP but with the current ongoing situation with Covid-19 this role may be subject to change or delay, however, whist we have other SEN schools currently open we are still looking for others suitable candidates so please still apply.
