Job description

Secondary School Supply Teacher

We are recruiting fully qualified secondary supply teachers to work across schools in Droylsden and the surrounding areas. These roles are suitable for teachers who hold QTS or have completed a recognised SCITT qualification, with experience teaching in UK secondary classrooms. You will be covering a range of subjects depending on your experience, following set lesson plans, and supporting pupils throughout the school day. Flexibility, professionalism, and strong behaviour management skills are essential, as assignments may vary from day-to-day cover to longer placements, depending on your preference.

Requirements:

  • QTS or SCITT qualification (essential)
  • Teaching experience in UK secondary schools
  • Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
  • Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills

Role Details:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the teacher’s absence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
