Secondary IT Technician needed ASAP in "Good" Leeds LS17 school

I am currently working on behalf of my client school in the search for an IT Technician. The "Good" secondary school is based in the LS17 area of Leeds. The IT Technician will be able to work efficiently and effectively across the school. Working within a busy and talented IT department, the IT technician will be needed as soon as possible!

The school is increasingly dependent on its ICT systems working properly and efficiently.

Ensuring hardware resources are well maintained and by ensuring staff, pupils are supported in using ICT for teaching and learning. You will be based in the ICT Technical office and will be the first line of support. You will provide support to the Staff and Pupils of the school.

I will be looking for IT Technicians who:

• Install consumables. i.e. toners,
• Replacing peripheral devices such as keyboard, mice
• Using systems to setup accounts, reset passwords
• Setup and install printers
• Ensuring that as far as possible, pupils are not exposed to inappropriate materials on the network
• To receive and check deliveries and associated invoices.
• Ensuring virus protection is kept up to date

You will also need a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one as soon as possible!

If you have lived or worked outside the UK for a period of 6 months or more in the last year you will also require an overseas criminal police check for that country or countries.
