Secondary HLTA's and TA's needed in Leeds LS14 area

Job description

We are currently working with a number of "Good" and "Outstanding" rated Ofsted schools, located in the Leeds area. Do you have teaching experience? Are you able to manage tasks and be reliable? We are looking to appoint creative, experienced and enthusiastic HLTA 's and TA's who:

  • Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Is able to deliver high quality lessons following the planning given
  • Is able to liaise effectively with teachers and other staff about the progress of pupils within the lessons taught
  • Has good positive behaviour management skills to maintain our high standards of behaviour for learning
  • Are well organised and proactive team players who will make a positive contribution to the school.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and may deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times. Further to this, the appointed Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, which is great experience of classroom and behaviour management. Due to some of the students displaying challenging behaviour, the role will also involve working closely with pupils who may have been withdrawn from lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
