We are currently seeking a passionate and inspiring History teacher for a very well respected "Outstanding" rated secondary school, located in the LS10 area of Leeds. Are you able to promote a creative, varied and flexible approach to the History curriculum? Are you good at promoting differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression?

I am seeking Secondary History Teachers who:

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously
  • Taught 9-1 GCSE History
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service

Teaching Personnel have been providing supply staff since 1996 to secondary, primary and SEN schools throughout England and Wales since. Our Leeds Bradford Secondary office specifically works with secondary schools across West Yorkshire sending supply to 70% of schools.

We are hoping to meet with a teacher who can make a positive contribution to teaching and learning, joining the school on its journey to becoming an exceptional school. Our client school is a large modern secondary, not far from the city centre in LEEDS, a short drive from the city with solid public transport links. Staff and students can benefit from state of the art facilities including a specialised learning support unit for students to work away from mainstreams lessons.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
