Are you a graduate looking for a rewarding job within Education? Do you have experience working with children and be passionate about becoming a future Teacher?  

Teaching Personnel are recruiting cover teachers for our secondary schools in Plymouth. Working on a day to day basis through out the school term, you will be covering lessons in our supportive partnership school. This support is required between 3-5 days per week. This role is a fantastic way to gain experience in the classroom for aspiring teachers before going on to complete a PGCE or other teacher training routes 

The role of a cover supervisor will include: 

  • Covering lessons through out key stage 3 and key stage 4 with students of all abilities 

  • Work alongside the Head of department and teachers at the school to deliver successful lessons 

  • Creating a safe and engaging learning environment for all whilst maintaining strong classroom management 

Earn from GBP65 per day dependant on your experience. Teaching Personnel offer WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment.   

The right candidate will need... 

  • A passion for education and interest in supporting pupils 

  • A drivers licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential)  

  • A DBS on the update service – In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
