  • You will be required to demonstrate science practicals and support the students as they work through the experiments themselves.
  • Pay ranging between £54 - £65 per day depending on experience
  • Ideal experience for a prospective Science teacher of the future; gaining valuable experience within a large, successful Science department

About the School:

You will be joining a very high achieving academy school, with excellent KS4 and post-16 examination results. One of the benefits of being part of an Academy is that the school has recently received a multi-million investment from the academy for new buildings and state of the art facilities.

Despite the schools good results the latest OFSTED report states that it is a school which requires improvement. However, the report does highlight that the academy has put in place a number of processes in order to make these improvements.

One of the issues raised in the report is that "pupils do not show an active interest in their work.
