Science Teaching vacancy - Preston!

Job description

A school in Preston wish to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner on a full-time basis to join their outstanding Science Department from November 2018. The successful applicant will be joining a department that has a proven track record of achieving superb GCSE results and will be expected to actively contribute towards even greater successes in the future. This post is initially on a temporary basis until April 2019 with a possible view to becoming permanent.

This post is suitable for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and passionate Science teacher. The School is a popular, oversubscribed school, graded as outstanding in every category in its 2014/15 Ofsted inspection.

Please note that the school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
