Science teacher required near Twickenham
There is a position currently open for an experienced Science teacher in secondary schools. The school is currently looking for new teachers with the ideal candidate holding qualifications such as a PGCE or QTS. The school are interviewing next week and looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
Teachers who apply to this post must be willing to work fulltime, 5 days a week from 8:30am till 3:30pm, and be willing to travel to Westminster.
Requirements
- The incoming Science teacher would need UK recognised qualifications (e.g. QTS, PGCE, BEd, MSc, BA)
- The successful candidate will have experience teaching at KS3-5 level in secondary schools
- Required to Plan, Prepare, Mark and Assess students work and run catch up lessons for those who may struggle
- The ideal candidate will have held long term teaching roles at varying schools

The Role
- This role has a start date in two weeks, with interviews commencing next week
- It would be a full-time role; 5 days-a-week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Pay range from £150-£200 a-day depending on the teaching experience and qualifications
- Would be expected to teaching Science at KS3-5 level and any extra-curricular experience would benefit the candidates the application
The School
- The school is located near Twickenham and is an 8 minute walk from Twickenham station
- This school was rated "outstanding" by Ofsted as they noted "The school's care and support for pupils is outstanding. Staff understand pupils' needs extremely well and work closely with other agencies to provide extra help, should this be needed."
- The school are constantly looking to improve their current standing and rating. Their new head teacher and leadership are using innovative ways to improve the level education.
