A small mixed comprehensive Secondary school situated within the Bury LEA have an emerging requirement for a Science teacher (any specialism) to join their Science department from September 2018. This position will initially be offered on a temporary basis for one term until Christmas, with the opportunity to secure a fixed term post for the remainder of the academic year.
This position has arisen due to a restructure within the Science faculty, and will incorporate teaching students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four in line with the National Curriculum.
It is essential that the appointed Science teacher can successfully reinforce positive classroom management strategies, and implement the values of the school during each lesson.

The school has a small population with slightly over 700 pupils currently on roll. Ofsted inspections have praised the school consistently for their inclusivity and diversity, along with the provisions that are in place to support students of all abilities. The incoming Science teacher will work from a full timetable and be responsible for planning and marking.
Our client Secondary school is located near to the Whitefield area of Bury and can be accessed via public transportation links from Manchester city centre. As the school is directly opposite the M66 Motorway; it is easily accessible from neighbouring areas Bolton, Salford and Rochdale.
