Science teacher - Sunderland

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking to fill a role within one of our client schools in Sunderland, with whom we have an excellent relationship; they are looking to recruit a Science teacher to cover an unexpected resignation within their department. The school is based in Sunderland, with around 1000 students on-roll. As a community, the school prides themselves on promoting high achievements, encouraging a positive learning environment and providing students with opportunities to enrich their lives.

The role commences in April, so we would ideally like to recruit the successful candidate promptly. The role will be a full-time position and entails teaching to KS3-5, therefore applicants should have a strong command of the subject and behaviour management.

OVERVIEW

  • Successful candidate required to start in April, working on a full-time basis
  • Delivering the Science curriculum up to GCSE-based on exam board specifications
  • Opportunity to be paid between £120-160
  • Possibility of being offered a longer fixed-term contract (at the discretion of the school)
  • NQTs welcome to apply, though extensive classroom experience is preferred
