Science teacher required for maternity cover - Rochdale

Due to an upcoming maternity leave in our client schools Science department, there is a need for a qualified Science teacher to join them on a temporary basis, teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and 4 for an expected two terms, though the successful applicant may be asked to continue for the full academic year.

** Earn in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS)

** Well facilitated secondary school in Rochdale

** Collaborative approach to teaching in established Science department

** September 2018 start date, two term temporary post initially

** Short journey from M62 motorway, connecting to surrounding LEAs

Our client school is situated in a semi-rural area serving local areas such as Dearnley, Littleborough and Smithy Bridge. The school is situated by the M62, with excellent access to both Leeds and Manchester, and boasts several public transport routes nearby. The school aims to provide the best in pastoral and educational support for their students and Ofsted commented on the high quality of teaching which is raising attainment and the aspirations of the students.
