Science Teacher required - St Helens

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a mixed catholic secondary school in St Helens who have a need for a Science teacher on a long term basis with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate. The school is a larger than average secondary and was graded good from their most recent OFSTED inspection during the last academic year.

In this rewarding Science Teacher role you would need to plan and teach engaging lessons that challenge students with a mixture of abilities from Key Stages 3 - 5. Ideally you will have been graded as good or outstanding in recent observations and hold a passion for Science and your specific discipline. You will receive full support from the department and Head Teacher. With a thriving Science department this would be a great opportunity to join a school that has excellent resources and facilities.

The role:

- KS3-5 Science teacher

- Full time position

- Supportive department with excellent facilities

- Allocated PPA/Planning time

- Salary negotiable (dependant on experience)

- School situated in St Helens

- The school is easy accessible and has close public transport links

Requirements:

*Science related degree of any discipline (Desirable)
*PGCE or Schools Direct background (Essential)
*Strong subject knowledge of Science (Essential)
*Ability and energy to engage all abilities (Essential)
